I’m Colton “Cody” Otte, and my passion for capturing moments and creating authentic projects started over 25 years ago. From filming music and commercial work to documenting personal stories, I’ve always been drawn to capturing real moments. Between creative endeavors and my love for the outdoors, I also found lacrosse and the incredible community that came with it in Minnesota. Whether I’m behind the camera or immersed in a project, my focus has always been on building connections and telling stories that matter.
Over the past decade, I’ve worked in music, commercial, and documentary filmmaking, spending 10 years on tour with Prof and producing projects like Live at the Palace. I’ve created content for brands like Budweiser, Taco John’s, Alaska Airlines, and Walser Automotive, as well as short-format documentaries that bring personal and team stories to life. My work also includes internal corporate videos designed for training and presentations, helping businesses communicate their vision effectively.
When it comes to weddings, I take a documentary-style approach—capturing the day as it unfolds, without forcing moments. I also love the printing process, offering high-quality photo books and archival portraits that turn memories into tangible keepsakes.
